Vera Hollander (MSc.) is a water management expert with three years of working experience in international water projects, mostly in the role of a government official. She holds a BSc. In Civil Engineering and a MSc. in Water Management from Delft University of Technology. During her study, she did research projects in Tanzania (on water supply) and Mozambique (on irrigation and remote sensing), an exchange program in Italy and various extra activities, such as an internship at an engineering company (on urban drainage) and working as a student assistant in the water management department.
She is an ambitious and idealistic young professional who wants to contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive world and has lived abroad in various countries for both study and work and is open to new challenges and learning opportunities. She is flexible and pro-active has eye for detail and social impact. Her technical background in combination with her experience at the government makes that she is able to look at challenges from different angles and to communicate and work together with various types of stakeholders, ranging from high level to local champions on the ground.
