Jack Beard

J.E. (Jack) Beard (MSc.) is a hydrologist with a specialism in water resources and reuse. His thesis research, conducted with KWR Watercycle Research Institute, focused on water balance modelling and extensive data analysis to better characterise the influence of drought on streamflows, with a specific focus on the reuse dynamics of treated wastewater. Through his BSc research within the University of Bristol hydrology group and subsequent position at a hydrological consultancy he has also gained experience in the field of flood risk and hydrodynamic modelling. Jack also has experience with teaching, having assisted with the delivery of a number of MSc courses whilst at Utrecht University.
